The Fire Safety Training Course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including selecting and using the correct fire extinguisher. The course is also designed to train staff in your fire safety procedures.

Course Content

The Fire Safety Training Course will cover the following topics:

  • An overview of the fire safety legislation
  • The physics and chemistry of fire
  • Fire safety hazards in the workplace
  • Development and spread of fire
  • What Action to take in the event of fire
  • Means of raising alarm
  • Means of summoning the fire brigade
  • Evacuation procedures

By the end of this Fire Safety Training Course participants should:

  • Understand the fire safety legislation
  • Be able to explain physics and chemistry of fire
  • Be able to identify Fire safety hazards in the workplace
  • Understand how fire develops and spreads
  • Know what Action to take in the event of fire

Instructor-led public classroom training which can be attended either online via ZOOM or in person at our training centre in Dublin 12.

Certification

On successful completion of this course, a “Fire Safety Training” Cert will be issued from guardian safety which will be valid for 3 years

Refresher Training is recommended after 3 years
